You will find the village of Limnati 15 Kms north of Limassol towards the mountain of Troodos and east of Lania village. Limnati acquired its name due to a huge number of lakes that surround the area.
The village consists of Pano and Kato Horio and Pera Geitonia. The village is surrounded by main chapels such as Agios Mamas, Agios Epifanis, Agia Eleni, Agios Giorgis, Agia Marina, Agios Nicolous, Agia Paraskevi and many others.
The residents of the village are mostly occupied in the cultivation of almond trees and the village itself is pre-eminent in Cyprus almond production. Grapes, olives and grain are also produced there.
The village is very beautiful, the residents very friendly and hospitable, making Limnati well worth a visit.
